After the success obtained in Athens 2004 Personal Plus returns to the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. The cheerleaders from the Canary Islands are in Beijing now and they are going to carry out the Beach Volleyball entertainment.

The names of these seven cheerleaders are the following:

Vanesa Díaz
Elizabeth Suárez
Patricia Rancel
Romina Baldomir
Nayra Carvalho
Bárbara Del Castillo Olivares
Yanira Jiménez

The group is completed with five Chinese cheerleaders who have been training the different Spanish choreographies through some videos. Personal Plus made some supervision and training visits to Beijing before the Olympic Games.

The Entertainment Director of the Venue for the Beach Volleyball Olympic Games is Nadia Sarudiansky, from Personal Plus.

There have been some different opinions about the cheerleader's role in the Olympic Games in Beijing. The cultural differences are the main reason of this discussion because it is not usual to find in this country a cheerleader's group in a sport event. This controversy has turned into a debate between the traditional sector and the progressive sector.  The first one does not agree on their presence in the Olympic Games while the second one is in favour of showing everybody that China is a global and developed country.

The spectators will enjoy with choreographies that combine the Eastern and the Western culture elements. The atmosphere in this international group is excellent.
