European Championship Beach Volleyball
The Dutchmen Nummerdor/Schuil were proclaimed winners of the Spanish Masters Gran Canaria 2008 Beach Volleyball held throughout the week in Playa del Inglés (Gran Canaria). The Dutchman duo won the final of the Spanish pairing of Pablo Herrera and Raul Mesa, who brushed the title in this first test of the Nestea European Tour. The game ended 2-1 with partial 21-16, 17-21 and 12-15 in the final tiebreaker. In girls, the German Goller/Ludwig took up with the win against the Austrian Montagnolli/Swoboda by a clear 2-0 (21-19 and 21-14).
